The venue

Bowling, Darts, Pool and Arcade

Bowling

10 ten pin lanes on the Qubica AMF Neoverse system, with booth seating that keeps the group together. Bumpers go up per player rather than per lane, so a five year old and a grandparent can bowl the same game.

Darts

Boards on the same floor as the lanes, so the group has somewhere to move on to when the bowling finishes without the party breaking up or leaving your eyeline.

Pool tables

Tables a few steps from the lanes, giving the older kids and the adults something to do while the food comes out and the next game is set up.

Arcade games

The arcade sits right off the bowling floor, and arcade tickets are already loaded on every package from Bronze up. There is a prize wall to cash them in on the way out.

Three. That is the real minimum, not a starting point we talk you up from. Most of the large entertainment chains will not take a party under ten guests.

At least 48 hours before the date. That is the minimum for us to hold the lane, set the table and roster a host. In practice, weekends and school holidays fill up faster, so earlier is better.

Yes. Thunderbowl sits inside the Alexandra Hills Hotel, which is a licensed premises, so every guest under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Tell us in the enquiry form and again when you confirm final numbers. The platters are set menus, but there is a full hotel kitchen behind them, so swaps are usually possible.
